Stephanie and Vic formed Chica and Da Man in their living room in Vancouver, BC Canada as a way to keep performing and entertaining people (as well as keeping their own sanity intact!) when all live music was shutdown as a result of COVID mandates. Both are seasoned performers in their own rights and felt a need for the show to somehow keep going on when they were suddenly faced with losing all their gigs during lockdowns.
What started off as fun occasional playing over social media live streams quickly turned into a weekly event with many followers, sometimes in the thousands!
Their dynamic as well as each of their own performance experiences is the perfect recipe for the success the act has achieved. They are a perfect blend of musicality and entertainment. Audiences can expect to hear not only acoustic versions of classics from all genres including rock-n-roll, country, latin, pop, singer-songwriter but they will be treated to a entertaining comical banter that only very few duos (and married couples) are lucky enough to possess.
